Description

An evening with Jeff Wald: How he raised $35MM (from Union Square, SoftBank, and others) in 2010 for WorkMarket and sold to NASDAQ: ADP in 2018

CAMentrepreneurs is delighted to announce an evening with Jeff Wald, co-founder of WorkMarket – a unique opportunity to listen to, question, and discuss all aspects of successful entrepreneurship with an inspiring and motivating business leader.

Jeff Wald is the co-founder of WorkMarket. Founded in 2010, WorkMarket is an enterprise software platform that enables companies to efficiently and compliantly organize, manage and pay freelancers. WorkMarket raised $35MM from brand name investors including Union Square, SoftBank and Silicon Valley Bank. It was sold to NASDAQ: ADP ($60BN market cap) in 2018. Jeff is also a member of the board of directors for ModusLink (NASDAQ: MLNK), Costar Technologies (OTC:CSTI) and Peerless Systems Corporation (NASDAQ: PRLS). He graduated from Harvard Business School and Cornell.

The evening will allow plenty of time for informal discussion on investment, building a business, developing teams, and much more. And as usual, there will be plenty of opportunity for networking with drinks before and after Jeff speaks.
