How families can promote and practice inclusion in their communities with Tiffany Patton from Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities.

Tiffany Patton is RVA Educational Programs Coordinator at the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities (VCIC), an organization that works with schools, business, and communities to achieve success through inclusion. In her role, Tiffany facilitates educational programs on diversity and inclusion for schools in the Greater Richmond area, including retreats, forums, professional development, and customized workshops.

Advocates in Parenting (AIP) sponsors its lunchtime Road Map Series, which is designed to offer parents and professionals a guide and tools to use as they navigate the various challenges that children and families experience.

As you may know, for almost four years AIP has facilitated a free speakers program for parents and professionals called the Roadmap Series. We have an amazing 2020 line-up, with a theme for the year of “equity and inclusion”.

AIP hosts its monthly Road Map Series on the
