Description

Executive Functioning skills are critical when it comes to managing our lives on a daily basis. While often taken for granted, the ability to organize, plan, manage time, problem-solve and control our emotions are some of the most important skills we possess. Unfortunately, children with ADHD, learning disabilities or other neurodevelopmentally-based challenges often lack these skills. As a result, these children are often confused and unprepared for the social communication and relationship development that our world relies on so heavily.

This program will discuss how deficits in executive function can specifically impact your child's social interactions and behaviors and can potentially lead to secondary concerns such as anxiety and depression. We'll talk about ways to identify some of the warning signs and most importantly share effective strategies parents and educators can embrace to support kids.
