EL PASO, Texas – Accion Texas Inc., a nonprofit small business and microfinance organization, will be holding a FREE seminar and networking opportunity for small business owners about how to reduce risk in growing a business.
Accion Texas has partnered with H. Homero Galicia, owner of Ascend: Entrepreneurial Growth. Mr. Galicia has been coaching small business owners since 2008 with various methods and focuses on teaching the process to develop an entrepreneurial mindset that is critical for steady business growth. Galicia has educated his clients how run a business from the ground level to the strategic level, and from chasing a business to directing it.
WHAT: Seminar and networking opportunity for small businesses on how to reduce risk in growing a business and how to make good business decisions. Topics to be covered include:

- How to review roadmaps for the growth of a business?

SPEAKER: H. Homero Galicia is an experienced business coach who has been teaching Hispanic Entrepreneurship at the University of Texas at El Paso since 2006. Galicia is the host of “Hispanic Biz-Success Stories” where he interviews successful Hispanic entrepreneurs on EPCC TV (TW Cable 14). He also has served as chairman of numerous civic and community advisory boards and was awarded the El Paso District SBA Small Business Advocate in 1995. Galicia graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso and continued his graduate work at Stanford University School of Education.
