Event description

Description

Heroes on the Water Arizona Chapter invites all veterans, active duty military, and first responders to a day of kayak fishing at Arizona's beautiful Bartlett Lake. As is the case with all of our veteran events, HOW will provide everything you need from bait to kayak, and breakfast to lunch.

Bartlett Lake is packed full of largemouth bass, as well as catfish, carp, bluegill, and even crappie. We'll be focusing our efforts on largemouth, but let us know if you you want to try catching something else and we'll do our best to make it happen.

We'll be launching from the parking area just north of Jojoba Ramp, this is the main ramp on the south end of the lake at the end of Bartlette Dam Road. Breakfast will be had and signatures collected at 6:30am for a 7:00am launch. After a morning of fishing we'll bring it all back in around noon for lunch.

Chapter kayaks are limited and often fill up fast, so register quickly to reserve a spot. If you register and later discover you will not be able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make sure another deserving hero can fill your spot.

HOW Arizona looks forward to another great day on the water with all of you!
