Houston Owl-O-rific Quarterly Training Event

Welcome and thank you for joining us!
Heather Alexander and I (Bobbi Wooldridge) are so thrilled to have you join us for our first Houston area training event! We plan to host these events every 2-3 months, with the goal of helping your grow your Origami Owl Business! Regardless of your place within the company career plan, we hope this training will leave you with a feeling of accomplishment in your choice to work with such an amazing company, along with a renewed or enhanced dedication to your business!
Heather and I are offering this event to anyone in Houston and the surrounding area who is an active designer with Origami Owl. We receive no monetary gain or incentive for this training, we are just trying to grow a solid foundation in the Houston area with support, encouragement, and love for our fellow owls! We understand not all teams are located in the same city, or even the same state! What works in one market, may not work in another. We are hopeful that we can create and foster a sense of community within the Houston region, and all work together to be a FORCE FOR GOOD while sharing such an amazing company with the world!
In this training, we will focus on the Jewelry Bar model, Event planning and execution, closing the sale, organization in direct sales, bookings and recruitment. The training will last appx 2 hours and will include a drink and appetizers to share. Plan to come with your notepad for notes, a pen or pencil, a catalog, and your calender if you have one. If you want to enhance your experience in the training, bring your list of team members and/or DIWs, your HOT 100 list, and your sales and parties from the last three months. We won't be sharing our sales numbers, so if you haven't sold to much yet, no worries, THIS is the THE training for YOU! While these items are optional, they can only help your benefit from this training! We will have door prizes and little yummies for positive participation!

****To offset the rental of the room, the cost of drinks and appetizers, along with the cost of copies for materials distributed at the meeting, we are requesting a $10 donation from each attendee. This will be paid AT THE DOOR. Heather and I will receive no portion of this money. It will be to cover the cost of hosting. We did not include this in the eventbrite, because we did not want you to pay a fee in addition to the $10. We ask that you bring cash, and we can provide a receipt if need be. This is to cover the cost of the location and materials only.****

Suggestions for your donation can be found at this link. This program is a perfect example of what we strive to support as Designers with Origami Owl. Commiting to a few jars of peanut butter and some fruit cups, can and will change the life of a child. Many children board the bus each day and receive their only meals while they are in school. This program is designed to serve children who may not have enough food to eat over the weekend. Each Friday, a backpack is delivered to the child by the school nurse. It is packed full of food to carry them thru the weekend. This program is sponsored by the Houston Food Bank.
Each item donated will earn you a ticket for the main door prize! (max of 10 tickets)
