About this Event

The California Initiative for Health Equity and Action (Cal-IHEA), is excited to host a policy briefing entitled, “Housing as a Health Intervention"

The Evidence Briefing will be on March 11th from 11:30am-1:30pm at The California Endowment’s Adelante Room (1st Floor) at 1414 K street in Sacramento, CA.

The briefing will convene an expert panel to present research evidence that focuses on housing as a health intervention for populations experiencing homelessness and housing instability.

The California Initiative for a Health Equity and Action (Cal-IHEA) aims to facilitate productive discussion of policies to address homelessness and housing instability to improve health outcomes and reduce health care costs. This briefing hopes to unite agency leaders, legislators, advocates and experts across sectors in the interest of developing equitable housing policy in California.
