Learn about keeping your houseplants happy this winter in the magnificent Volunteer Park Conservatory!
You’ll learn about indoor plant care including proper light, watering, when to fertilize, and troubleshooting—with an emphasis on the special conditions of winter. Prepare your plants to thrive in the upcoming gray winter months.
Class will begin with a walking tour of the Conservatory with some plant identification.
Lecture will follow the walking tour and will run about 1-1.5 hours
Presented by Tassy de Give, Plant Director at Glasswing
Tassy de Give is a plant enthusiast and instructor who has worked in the horticulture field for the past 15 years!
In 2007 she co-founded Sprout Home, a home and garden shop and design studio in Brooklyn, NY. She co-authored her first book in 2015 entitled Rooted in Design. Tassy has been a featured guest/writer for ABC's The Chew, Martha Stewart Living Radio Show, and Elle Magazine. She is currently the Plant Director for Glasswing in Seattle, WA.
