Event description

Description

Join "la crème de la crème" of Edmonton's burlesque scene for a House of Hush Burlesque launch party starring renowned burlesque performers and founders LeTabby Lexington and Violette Coquette and their star cast including Kiki Quinn, Cherry Poppins, Holly Von Sinn, Dame Perignon, Scarlett von Bomb, Buddy Bordel and Chantilly Lace. Hosted by Rapid Fire Theatre's Julian Faid (the one and only Professor Eugene Organ)!

House of Hush Burlesque provides an interactive, live theatrical experience that pulls inspiration from the high-kicking showgirls of the Klondike Gold Rush, sideshow vaudeville strangeness, and the glamour and opulence of the golden age of jazz. If you're craving glittery costumes, glamour, can-can, or wild gin-soaked revelry – let the House of Hush drench you in our delightful glitter.

"If you give in to beauty, pleasure, and self-indulgence on a daily basis, not only will you be happier day-to-day, you will be less likely to go off the deep end when it all gets too much and you finally cave in. One must practice the art of hedonism regularly to get really good at it." - Michael Flocker
