About this event
Hotel Madison is excited to host the Second Annual Winter Wine Weekend. In addition to the Grand Tasting, there will be a wine-centric welcome reception, wine workshops, a wine-paired dinner, wine tours, a champagne brunch and more!

Enjoy a wine-centric welcome reception at our Quills Lobby Bar! Enjoy wines from SHARE A SPLASH wine co.’s collection paired with scrumptious tapas-style fare. Live music from 5-8 pm featuring Bob Hallahan and Joseph Nichols.

WINE PAIRED DINNER AT JOSHUA WILTON HOUSE - FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 21

4-course dinner paired with Australian wines at Joshua Wilton House . Chef Tom will be creating dishes sourced from Virginia with his French technique to go along with the wines. 10% of sales will be donated to Wildlife Warriors to aide in building more facilities at Steve Irwin's zoo to help house and rehabilitate animals injured by the fires.

Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance is sponsoring The Grand Tasting located in the Shenandoah Grand Ballroom. This event will feature over 10 Virginia wineries and will provide an opportunity to taste and compare wines from distinct regions of Virginia. Take home a commemorative Hotel Madison tasting glass!

Barren Ridge Vineyards, Brix and Columns Vineyards, Shenandoah Vineyards, Rockbridge Vineyard, Keswick Vineyards, Barboursville Vineyards, Cardinal Point Winery, Bluestone Vineyard, Muse Vineyards, Crosskeys Vineyards, Cave Ridge Vineyard and more to come!
Grand Tasting Ticket includes admission and 5-6 tastings from each of the participating Virginia Wineries - $40 advance / $45 at the door

BLUESTONE VINEYARD
Experience a behind the scenes tour of award-winning Bluestone Vineyard, led by winemaker Lee Hartman, covering the growing and winemaking process. From the vines to the barrel, from the cork to the tasting room, this comprehensive look at a winery will prep you for your afternoon at the Grand Tasting or further seminars. Includes shuttle transportation to and from the vineyard leaving Hotel Madison at 9 am and returning at Noon. (Transportation included)

Growing world-class wine at Keswick is something Stephen learned in South Africa and has fortunately brought to Virginia. Explore how great wine can grow in these two climates and hear about the hard work that goes into vineyard cultivation.
