Event description
Sign up to learn more about becoming host family for a young adult in need of safe, stable housing.

About this Event

There are hundreds of young people in the Richmond area who are working to earn their diplomas and become successful, independent adults - all without a place to call home.

Several youth-focused agencies have joined together to create the Richmond Youth Host Home Program. We place young adults in volunteer host homes and provide ongoing guidance for both the family and youth. This program is currently in its early (but exciting!) stages; frankly, there is such a need for respite, temporary, and long-term host homes that we must move forward – with your help.

If you are interested in learning more about becoming a short- or long-term host family for a young person, please sign up for the info session!

The info session will explain why this program is important and the expectations for becoming a host. Snacks will be provided. It is limited to 20 participants, so please sign up early!
