Event description

The entire town of 1863 Gettysburg became a hospital. There was no Sunday for weeks. The churches were used for hospitals. Every structure in town was transformed from their daily use into hospitals. Every resource in town was directed toward the care of the wounded. Everyone was pressed into service, professional and untrained to try to relieve the suffering. We will look at the first-hand accounts of the patients, the doctors, and civilians that were called into service

Join historian Ken Rich as he takes a journey back to the time of the battle, and the town of Gettysburg.
