In conjunction with the HRT 499 Hospitality Innovation course, The Collins College is hosting a Hospitality Innovation Speaker Series featuring interesting guests from all over the industry.

  • Oct 10: Matt Ryczek (COO, Ideahouse and Co.) - A product development company that helps bring clients’ innovative ideas to the market.

  • October 17: Eric Jacobs (Chief Development Officer, Marriott International) - His division is responsible for both franchise and managed growth in the US and Canada for Marriott’s Select Service and Extended Stay brands and their new Lifestyle brands; AC by Marriott Hotels and MOXY hotels. LOCATION: Building 80-100/102

  • October 24: Fedele Bauccio (Founder/CEO, Bon Appetit) - An on-site restaurant company offering full food-service management to corporations, universities, museums, and specialty venues.

  • October 31: Aaron Neilson (Director, Innovation Brew Works) - A café and brewery located on the Cal Poly Pomona campus at Innovation Village that serves as a learn-by-doing brewery laboratory for students.

  • November 7: Thomas Hines (Founder/CEO, Overwatch Safety Solutions) - An innovative personal security application that allows you to alert people that you are in danger with a code word or a specific movement.
