Hosanna School Museum Sesquicentennial Celebration

Come join Hosanna School Museum for our Sesquicentennial Celebration on April 7, 2017 with keynote speaker Dr. Freeman A. Hrabowski III, President of UMBC, named by TIME Magazine as one of the "100 Most Influential People in the World" and one of "America's 10 Best College Presidents."
This event will commemorate the 150-year history of Harford County’s first public school for African Americans established in 1867 during American Reconstruction. Dr. Hrabowski will be signing copies of his latest book Holding Fast to Dreams.
Tickets are on sale for $60 and will cover a sit-down dinner and live musical entertainment. Proceeds will benefit ongoing efforts to preserve this historic site and educational programming. This event will be held at the APGFCU Arena located on the campus of Harford Community College. Doors open at 6 pm, and the celebration from 7 until 11 pm.
