East City Bookshop and Historic Congressional Cemetary present HORROR on the HILL: Readings from His Hideous Heart: 13 of Edgar Allan Poe’s Most Unsettling Tales Reimagined.

Join us for an evening of macabre literary merrymaking amongst the tombstones with editor/author Dahlia Adler, moderated by local YA author Jessica Spotswood. In His Hideous Heart, Dahlia Adler brings together 13 of YA’s most celebrated names to spin their own blood curdling take on gothic genius Edgar Allan Poe’s most surprising, unsettling and popular tales.

This event is free and open to the public. RSVP is recommended but not required. Click here to learn more and reserve your copy of His Hideous Heart today.

Dahlia Adler's novels include the Daylight Falls duology, Just Visiting, and the Radleigh University Triology. Jessica Spotswood is the author of The Cahill Witch Chronicles and co-editor of Toil & Trouble: 15 Tales of Women & Witchcraft, among others.
