About this Event

In honor of Suicide Prevention Month, The Yunion, in association with TBOP Media, presents "Hope 911" a film that explores the traumas, and tragedies that place adolescents and teens at risk of suicide. Premiering on Sunday, September 29th at the Marygrove College Theater in Detroit, the film sheds a necessary light on the challenges that teens face in today's society while showing a compelling account of heroism, tragedy, faith, despair, and HOPE!

Hope 911 is a film targeted toward teens in middle and high school that connects real situations young people deal with throughout everyday life.

Not only is Hope 911 a film for teenagers, it is a dynamic film that can be used as a tool for parents, students, school administrators, educators, youth leaders, church youth groups, community leaders and officials to start the conversation with their youth about suicide and it's consequences.

Please, don't come to this premier alone. Bring a young person, a teen, a youth group, a class, a niece, nephew, son or daughter. This film is sure to captivate and compel the minds of our metro Detroit youth!

Hope 911 Premiere Attire: Casual

“If I tried, and failed, maybe a flock of birds would catch me before I hit the ground, and fly me hundreds of miles away. Or...maybe I'll hit the ground.….. I'll still be far from here. “
