 Conference Information

Restoring Hope • Proclaiming Truth • Equipping Churches

Strugglers, family members, loved ones, counselors, pastors, and lay people, this conference is for you!

Join us for a special conference filled with powerful biblical teaching, dozens of workshops, worship, and inspiring life stories of those who have dealt with same sex attraction or transgenderism and been transformed by the living God. We will also host the world premiere of a documentary on transgenderism and provide opportunity to connect with others in your area to gain long-term support.

"And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us..."  ~ Romans 5:5

Keynote speakers: Joe Dallas • Janet Mefferd • Linda Seiler • Ron Citlau

Joe Dallas

Joe Dallas is an author, conference speaker, and ordained pastoral counselor.  He’s the Program Director of Genesis Biblical Counseling in Tustin, California, which is a counseling ministry for men dealing with sexual addiction and other sexual/relational problems.

Joe has authored six books on human sexuality from the Christian perspective, including Desires in Conflict, The Game Plan, When Homosexuality Hits Home, Five Steps to Breaking Free from Porn, and Speaking of Homosexuality. He is also the author of the daily blog Joe Dallas Online.

He has been a contributing writer for numerous journals as well as representing the Christian viewpoint through major Christian and secular TV and radio programs, including Focus on the Family Broadcast, the ABC Evening News, and The Bible Answer Man. He has addressed conferences, churches, and universities across the country and internationally.

Janet Mefferd

Janet Mefferd is the host of two nationally syndicated daily Christian talk shows: Janet Mefferd Today and Janet Mefferd Live (on American Family Radio), with a combined reach of more than 350 radio stations nationwide. A former news and religion reporter and editor for newspapers including The Dallas Morning News and the Daily Herald, Janet also has more than 25 years of Christian broadcasting experience.

Janet was one of several key people to confront former Exodus president, Alan Chambers, prior to his closing of Exodus International on her nationally syndicated radio show.  Janet has been a tremendous support for the body of Christ in holding to the truth of transformation of lives in Jesus Christ and has a unique perspective as she engages the church with news, culture, and biblical issues. Janet Mefferd Live covers it all, with information YOU can use -- from a show and host who isn’t ashamed of the gospel.

Linda Seiler

Linda Seiler once had plans to have sex reassignment surgery, change her name to David, and live happily ever after. But God. Today, she is living the dream, content in a female body and wholly attracted to men. Linda shares candidly from her own struggles coupled with a strong Scriptural foundation and the latest scientific research regarding the origins of homosexuality and gender dysphoria. The training seminar "Compassion without Compromise: A Christian Response to Homosexuality" is based on her personal journey of transformation combined with her master's thesis, which she completed in May 2014. Linda is currently pursuing her PhD at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary to develop further expertise to equip the body of Christ in this crucial hour.

Linda is an ordained Assembly of God minister and currently serves as the director of Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at Purdue University. She is an avid golfer, dark chocolate lover, and has a kitten named Boaz. Her favorite Starbucks drink is a venti-quad-decaf-nonfat-extra-hot-with-whip latte (it’s a paradox on so many levels).

Ron Citlau

Ron is the senior pastor at Calvary Church in Illinois. He is ordained in the Reformed Church in America and has his Masters of Divinity from Western Seminary. He has written for The Gospel Coalition, contributes regularly at Lifeway Pastors, and serves on the board of The Restored Hope Network. He co-wrote, Compassion without Compromise: how to love your gay friends without losing the truth; and is currently working on his next book, Hope for the Same-Sex Attracted.

In 1997, Ron was a drug addict, broken and lost. He had wrecked his life. It was there that Jesus found him. In God’s kindness, God brought him into a good church, gave him great friends, and slowly began to rebuild his life. Jesus changed everything. Almost 20 years later and Ron is a totally new person.

He has been married to his wife Amy for 14 years and they have four sons. He loves to run and live in Orland.
