Do you love the cats and kittens you see when shopping at Rockridge Center's Pet Food Express? Volunteer with Hopalong and take care of the kittens! As a volunteer you'll get a chance to learn what animal rescue is all about. In addition to socializing the kittens and cats you'll provide clean up, food care, and other basic needs. You'll also have the opportunity to answer questions from the public and help our kittens meet their forever families.
This orientation takes place in the adoption center at the Rockridge Center Pet Food Express, and will be hosted by Hopalong Animal Rescue's Volunteer Manager, or Adoption Center Associates Sara or Meryl.
- To volunteer you must be 18 years old.
- This orientation is to determine if we are the best fit for your volunteering needs and you're a good fit for Hopalong's needs. Attending the volunteer orientation does not guarantee a volunteer position.
- There will be a short survey to fill out at the end of the orientation that will help Hopalong match potential volunteers with the tasks best suited to their interests. It is possible, though unlikely, that we won't have a job for you. If this is the case, we will help you find an organization better suited for your interests.
Feel free to contact Volunteer Manager Dani with any questions: email@example.com or 510.267.1915 x103.
