Hop 'N Vine Festival & Market
Please join us for the first annual Hop 'N Vine Festival & Market at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 2 - 8 pm. This fun new event will feature tastes from some of the amazing wineries and craft breweries that are located right here in Santa Clara County, as well as lite bites, and entertainment. What makes this event unique is the Market. Unlike most wine walk events, if you taste something you like you'll be able to purchase some in the Hop 'N Vine Market to take home with you for later!

Tickets are limited and the event is expected to sell out. Advance tickets are $55 and include complimentary parking, 15 tastes, lite bites, entertainment, a fun game area (that will include virtual reality tours of Rome and Machu Picchu!), and three $5 certificates to apply toward purchases of wine or beer in the Hop 'N Vine Market.
If you are purchasing more than 10 tickets, advance tickets are $50 each.
If any tickets are still available on the day of the event they will be $65 each at the door.
Parking will be available in the large lot located at 7th and Tully, just across the street from the main Fairgrounds entrance (where the blue arch is). Complimentary parking is included with your Hop 'N Vine ticket so there will be no additional charge to park.
Please Drink Responsibly
Please enjoy the Hop 'N Vine Festival & Market responsibly and consider taking Uber or Lyft to the event.
Come to Taste AND Shop at the Hop 'N Vine Market!
Since this event will feature a Market, if you taste something you like you'll be able to purchase a few bottles to take home.
Included with each ticket will be three $5 certificates that can be applied to the purchase of beer or wine from the market (each certificate can only be applied to the purchase of one item - to use all three you would need to purchase three items). You will receive the certificates when you check in to the event.
Hop 'N Vine University
Another feature that will make this event unique is the "Hop 'N Vine University" area where you can learn more about the agriculture involved in creating the great beer and wine you'll be tasting, as well as info on the history of wine and beer making here in Santa Clara County. The lecture area will feature speakers from participating breweries and wineries, as well as two sessions by Prudy Foxx, a local biologist and viticulturist who has been knicknamed the "Grape Whisperer." We are also pulling together a fun gallery of photos to showcase the history of hops growing and wine and beer production in Santa Clara County.

Lohr Vineyards and Wines, La Vie Dansante Wines, Lion Ranch Vineyards & Winery, Medeiros Family Wines, Miramar Vineyards, Naumann Vineyards, Picchetti Winery, Roudon-Smith Winery, Sarah's Vineyard, Solis Winery and Sunlit Oaks.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
All attendees who would like to taste must be 21 and we will be verifying IDs when you check in so please don't forget to bring your ID along. Guests who are not tasting are welcome but must purchase a "designated driver/not tasting" ticket.
Can children attend?
Since the focus of this event is on tasting beer and wine it may not be a lot of fun for kids. But if you need to bring your children along they may attend. If they are over the age of 5 you must purchase a non-tasting ticket for them.
Do designated drivers need a ticket?
Yes, designated drivers or guests in your party who do not wish to taste beer and wine must purchase a "designated driver/not tasting" ticket.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
If you have questions please feel free to contact Valerie Merklin, Development Manager, at 408-477-7125 or by email at email@example.com
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, if you can't make it and want to give your ticket to someone else just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will update the information for sign-in at the event so they can check in under their name.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, you do not have to bring a printed ticket to the event. It would be helpful if you have the email confirmation on your phone just in case there are any issues, but since you are purchasing your ticket through Eventbrite we will have your name on the check-in list.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds will only be given if requested a minimum of 48 hours before the event.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Yes, that's ok. If you purchased multiple tickets for a group everyone will need to check-in under your name. We check off your attendees as they arrive so we will know how many in your party have arrived, so there is no need to arrive together at the same time.
