What is the Hop Culture Can Club?
The Hop Culture Can Club is a new initiative we’re launching with our friends at Atelier de Fer, a café, bar, and coffee roastery in Pittsburgh’s Strip District. Just like a farm share in which members “buy in” to a certain amount of a farm’s produce on a periodic basis, Can Club members get two out-of-market four packs each month. Who's participating?
November / December - Aslin Beer Company - Herndon, Virginia
January - Great Notion Brewing - Portland, Oregon
February - Southern Grist Brewing - Nashville, Tennessee
March - Ingenious Brewing Company - Houston, Texas
April - WeldWerks Brewing Co. - Greeley, Colorado
How many members are in the club?
The Hop Culture Can Club supports 150 club members.
How much are memberships?
Memberships cost $220, which averages $22 per four pack. Memberships must be paid upfront to de Fer and can be paid when you make your first pickup.
What do I get with my club membership?
In addition to getting first access to new Hop Culture tickets and merch, club members receive two out of market four packs per month.
How long do subscriptions last?
Subscriptions last five months, with one featured brewery each month.
Where and when can I pick up my beer?
Pickups happen at Atelier de Fer in the Strip, with dates sent out via email to Club Members. Typically, pickups will occur on the first Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of each month during regular business hours.
What if I can’t make a pickup?
If you can’t make a pickup, you can designate a friend to make the pickup for you. Please contact canclub@hopculture.com to schedule an alternative pickup.
What if I miss my alternative pickup or forget to make one?
If de Fer still has beer by the Tuesday after the release — and alternative arrangements haven’t been made — we're going to drink and/or sell your beer. Muahahaha!
What if I don’t like the beer or beer style I get?
All the beer that’s coming through the club has been personally chosen and vetted by Hop Culture. We understand you might not share our tastes. Barring technical problems with the product, we can’t offer refunds or exchanges.
