Food For Thought is partnering with Maumee Bay Brewing Company again this year to host their newest event: Hop Chef, Season 2. This cooking competition will feature Chefs from some of Toledo’s best restaurants cooking up amazing dishes. Each course will be paired with one of Maumee Bay Brewing Company’s newest craft beers. Along with food and beer tastings, guests will have a chance to bid on silent auction items, participate in a 50/50 raffle and enjoy live music. Proceeds will benefit the work of Food for Thought, a Toledo-based nonprofit dedicated to feeding those who are food-insecure in our area through 10 mobile food pantry locations and a weekend PB&J lunch outreach for the homeless.
