Your personal bandwidth is simply your individual mental ability to handle life’s many different challenges that we face. Julie McDonald and Lisa Graham will discuss the importance of identifying and working within our own unique personal bandwidth as well as the many factors that negatively affect it. They will share ways to cope with times when we push ourselves to work beyond what we should and learn how to avoid falling into a state of scarcity that limits our ability to perform our best.

About the presenters:

Julie McDonald – Julie E. McDonald, Ph.D. has over 20 years of experience providing psychological services out of the therapy office and into the business world, with the singular goal of helping professionals flourish at work and in life. Julie is experienced in leadership caching for small businesses, family owned businesses and large corporations. She also specializes in coaching high potential employees to progress toward their career and personal goals.

Julie is a member of the Birmingham Collaborative Alliance and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. She is also a member of the American Psychological Association, the National Register of Health Service Psychologists and has served as an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Psychology Department for over 20 years.

Lisa Graham – Lisa Goldstein Graham, Ph.D. has been practicing in the field of organization psychology for over 20 years. Lisa helps organizations, including small, family-owned business, nonprofit agencies and Fortune 500 companies, address a wide range of issues that involve people.

Lisa is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the American Psychological Association and an affiliate member of the Institute of Coaching. She has also served as an adjunct professor of psychology at Samford University and enjoys being involved with several nonprofit organizations.
