The Real MVP, Wanda Durant Pratt, to Speak In Branson, Mo. at the Chateau on the Lake - May 12th, 2017 6:00 pm
Wanda Durant Pratt, affectionately called the "REAL MVP" upon her son's acceptance speech as the NBA's 2014 MVP award, will be speaking in Branson, Mo. May 12th, at the annual Honoring Our Mothers dinner hosted by Mercy and the Caring People. The dinner aims to shine a spotlight on remarkable women from all walks of life, applauding their successes, sharing in their challenges and championing their current platform. Past speakers have included former ABC White House correspondent Ann Compton, and country entertainer and author, Naomi Judd. Wanda has a compelling story to share of resiliency and determination. Her passion for young teenage moms and determination to share her success strategies touches a familiar chord in the work of the Caring People - an outreach to Single Moms and their children founded 20 years ago by Springfield, Mo. native JoDee Herschend.
It is Wanda’s passion to guide her audience to realize that hope is alive inside of them, encourage them to dream, and help them to truly believe they can achieve the future they want.
To find out more about the evening or to purchase a ticket, call the Caring People at 417-334-0131. Tickets start at $100.00. Table Sponsorships are available by contacting Louanne Dietrich at Lou@thecaringpeople.org. Sponsorships of $2500 or more include a special VIP meet and greet with Wanda. We encourage businesses and church organizations to sponsor a table of $750 and invite Single Moms in their community to hear Wanda's empowering message.
