Hong Kong | Digital Disruptors in Asia & the Power of Partnerships
Event Information
Description
Another great panel, another great location! The Hong Kong registrations are now open for Advance and Telstra's Asia Perspectives Series: Digital Disruptors and the Power of Partnerships event. The evening will take place on Tuesday 12 April at the CoCoon creative working space in Tin Hau, from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
Facilitated by Asia Editor at ClickZ, Sophie Loras, our panel features digital disruptors with an Australian connection: Edge Zarella, Clients and Innovation Partner & ASPAC Head of Banking and Capital Markets, KPMG, Jim Clarke, Head of International Marketing, Products & Pricing, Telstra, David Ketchum, CEO & Founder, CurrentAsia and Leonie Valentine, Director Customer Experience APAC, Google.
Our panel discussion will focus on key findings of a recent report commissioned by Telstra and written by The Economist Intelligence Unit; Connecting Companies: Strategic Partnerships for the Digital Age, an analysis of the global trend of partnerships emerging between organisations around digital capabilities.
As traditional markets have transformed with the convergence of social, mobile and cloud technologies, enterprises increasingly need to adopt a robust digital strategy in order to remain globally competitive. Our panel discussion will focus on key findings of the research including: the need for enterprises to develop new digital capabilities that serve the “always-on” customer; engaging customers across physical and digital channels; the balance of gaining exposure to new technologies while sharing the risk; the benefits of data sharing; and the benefits of engaging with start-ups as sources of rather than as competitors or potential acquisitions (The Economist Intelligence Unit, 2015).
Our launch event in Singapore was a great success thanks to our wonderful panelists and engaged audience. The evening generated animated conversation and provided many insights into the digital landscape in Singapore as well as the positive outcomes of forming Asia based partnerships.
