Honey Soap & Balm Making Course
Fri 21 October 2016, 10:00 – 13:00 BST
This course will introduce you to the art of cold processed soap making, making natural beeswax lip balms and lotion bars all set at the majestic and historic Shire Hall in Monmouth.
You will be given lots of fabulous information about bees, honey and the history and science of soap making before seeing a live demonstration on how to make cold-pressed soap. Once you've mastered the process of soap making you might not want or need to buy a commercial bar of soap again! You will be provided with the recipe for a fresh bar of honey soap and one of your own to take home which you will decorate with tissue and ribbons. You will then make your own 100% natural beeswax lip balms and beautifully scented lotion bars. All of your makes will be yours to take home in a goody bag.
As always endless cups of tea and coffee are included along with freshly made Welsh cakes!
HBB's fabulous range will be available to purchase just across the road at the wonderful Bees for Development.
Afterwards why not stay for some lunch in the one of many cafes, bistros and restaurants that Monmouth has to offer before doing a spot of Xmas shopping!
Course date Friday 21st October 2016 10am - 1pm.
This really makes a great day out with a friend or as a unique gift for a birthday or Xmas pressie!
