HOMM Family Camp, 2023

Thank you for choosing to attend our Family Camp this year! May you make new friends, have lots of fun, create many treasured memories, and experience more of God’s presence in your life.

Helpful items for you to bring with you include lawn chairs (if you would like a soft seat), ice chests, water, food to fit with the “theme” (more information about food will follow), bedding, and games you like to play. Are you planning to camp one or two nights? Plenty of room for your tent set up equipment and /or campers. Bring electric cord and water hose connections as needed. Inside bathroom and laundry also available.

Tent and RV options:

There is plenty of room for tents. They often have 50 boy scouts camped in one of the fields.Water spigots are in many places, There are two campfire spots or you can use the various propane grills. There will be a porta potty.There are places to park for a few bigger RV's or trailers off on the sides - no official sites, just some wide places.Somebody who NEEDS a shower can come in the house, no problem. The bathroom right by the rear door will be lit all night.

Schedule:

Friday afternoon – orientation, setting up camp, meeting friends.

Friday evening – session 1: worship singing and dancing with music and flags. Or worshiping however you prefer, like silently kneeling as you are enveloped by God’s presence.

Saturday morning – worship through God’s Word, prayer and journaling.

Saturday afternoon – free time for whatever you wish to do.

Saturday evening – talent/no talent night.

Sunday morning – like workshop Sunday mornings: have something prepared to share. Know that God loves to interrupt with His agenda!

Sunday afternoon – thanksgiving, recap, tear down.
