About this Event

Greetings Parade Participants:

Can you believe that Christmas is just a few months away and it is that time of the year once again for you to show-off your great decorating talent?!

Plans are currently underway for the 21st Annual Hometown Holiday Christmas Celebration weekend to be held December 6 & 7. Saturday, December 7th, being the day of the parade and activities downtown. Our weekend event promises to have a memorable fun- filled day with lots of activities for the Tifton community. We want to emphasize our theme with music, candy, lights, and sounds of Christmas as we kickoff the holiday season!

The Parade will be held on Saturday, December 7th from 5:00 p.m. until approximately 6:30 p.m. Immediately following the parade, all participants and spectators are invited to walk into Downtown Tifton for the Hometown Holiday Christmas Celebration that will begin as soon as the parade is over and will last through the evening until ending around 10:00 p.m.

The theme this year is — March of the Toys! As the lyrics say, think marching toy soldiers, teddy bears, dolls, and animals from the ark.

Please purchase your ticket as soon as possible so that your spot for the parade will be secured. (Deadline for entry is November 18th or when spaces sell out.) Please note that there are cost savings for early registration. Late fees do apply for late registration. Participants should carry a banner, sign, or the like for identification by media and parade judges.
