Add Edible Mushrooms to your Garden
Join us in celebration of the exciting world of Mushrooms! This is an interactive workshop where we get hands-on with mushrooms we learn how easy it is to grow several common edible mushrooms at home. Attendees will be led through the workshop in a lighthearted manner using basic materials to start at-home cultivation projects. Everyone will get to take home a live culture (implanted in a 2.5' long, 5" diameter oak log) to grow to maturity and naturalize in your own garden. We will introduce you to simple methods to grow 3 different edible mushrooms that are known to be the easiest for beginners to try out. Materials will be provided at the workshop.
