It is up to you! Keep in mind that we will need 2 hours to cover all the basics and make sure everyone gets enough practice! The material will be focused on adult learning so you can support your kids at home. You are welcome to bring activities for your kids to be entertained.

If my kids come along can they use the microscopes?

Yes, they can get some practice too during our practice times and you can practice helping them, just like you would at home.

Are we going to learn to prepare slides?

No. Just two hours will not be enough time to cover all the basics for proper use and maintenance and teach you slide preparation. We are planning a separate workshop to teach you this skill. Follow us on Eventbrite to get notified as soon as we add it!

Will this workshop be in the lab?

No. For this workshop we will use the conference room where we will have plenty of space and a monitor to display some teaching materials on the topic.

If my kids are joining, do they need a separate ticket?

Please, use a free companion ticket for each child attending with you. This will help us make sure the room will not be overcrowded.
