Homeless to Paris: How I Re-Wrote My Story in One Transformational Year
Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (CST)
Homeless to Paris is an evening of storytelling for the ambitious + adventurous woman with a big dream… plus a family, career, and other responsibilities.
On the surface, It’s about dusting yourself off, forgiving past mistakes, overcoming adversity, and moving forward to quickly create a dream experience.
But really, It’s about learning how to bridge the gap between two sides of who you are.
It’s designed for the woman who is a big visionary AND the bread winner — a woman who struggles to weave her natural sense of adventure, unwavering faith that what she really wants is possible, deep love for her family, and desire to be responsible – into one exciting life.
By the end of the evening, you will understand how to:
: reveal where you feel homeless
: boldly state your version of Paris
: spot the hidden resources all around you
: create bite-size adventures to get you on your way
: alternate baby steps with big leaps
: and move quickly from inspiration to planning and into action.
And best of all, you’ll have the experience of hearing how my story of speedy transformation, can become a framework to make your own Impossible Dream for 2014, totally Possible.
Grab your favorite notebook + pen and get ready to be inspired into action.
Join me for an evening of storytelling with delicious munchies + drinks on December 1, 2013, from 5-7pm @ Monkey Nest Coffee Shop.
We'll be in "The Nest," a private room in the back.
There is no fee to attend, but I do require an RSVP since seating is limited.
When & Where
Yavonna wants to live in a world where travel is as essential as completing high school, as respected as earning a graduate degree, and as valuable an investment in the future as a retirement fund.
She's beem a traveler for most of her life - sometimes out of necessity, sometimes out of desire, always with a purpose.
She’s gone on international study adventures, and has relocated multiple times to improve her life and refine her professional path. And these days, she speaks to inspire women to make travel + adventure a priority NOW – rather than waiting for the “someday” that will never come.
When she’s not planning her next solo adventure, you can find her watching an incredible amount of Korean drama, figuring out how to teleport her whole family abroad, and attending destination retreats and workshops that fill her with creative fire, new friendships, and connections.
If you could pack up + go anywhere in the world, right now, where would you go? And who would you become? Find your answers + choose your adventure with Yavonna at:
