Event description

Description

Corlears School and PCSN invite you to an evening of information and exploration of homelessness in NYC, including insights on what students can do - and are already doing - to help. With our speakers:

Dr. Van Yu Chief Medical Officer, Center for Urban Community Services
Theresa Young, MSW Director, Helen’s House at Henry Street Settlement
Divya Sundaram Policy & Civic Engagement Coordinator, Community Voices Heard

The event includes a SERVICE FAIR with displays of student volunteer work on homelessness, and a SUPPLY DRIVE for NYC Mamas Give Back. Attendees are encouraged to bring diapers (size 4-6) and wipes to benefit young families in need.

The event is free and open to parents and educators.

Help us keep costs and waste down by bringing your own water or coffee bottle.
