Event description

Description

Welcome to HomeGrown STL Strategic Network, a research initiative focused on strengthening regional capacity to foster the positive development of black boys and young men ages 12 - 29 in St. Louis City and County. The Regional Summit takes place annually and is a working group with member agencies to examine the state of opportunity for black boys and young men and to identify policy and practice solutions from the ground up where community service providers (big and small) come together to discuss issues facing young black males and how to increase their capacity to better serve and provide effective services as professionals. We believe that solutions to our most pressing problems can be found right here in our region, starting with us.

If you have received this invite, you have been identified as an important partner in the St. Louis region for serving black boys and young men. Please join us for an important discussion around the state of opportunities for black males in St. Louis city and county. The Annual Summit is designed for programs primarily serving black boys and young men and other community service providers interested. Please join us for the opportunity to:

  • Increase your knowledge of programs and services for young black men.
  • Identify and explore your program's technical assistance, research, capacity building or professional development needs.
  • Share evidence based practices, knowledge and information for working effectively with young black men.
  • Network and create opportunities for strategic partnerships and inter-organizational collaborations.

Thank you, we look forward to seeing you!
