Testimonials

"I had the privilege of viewing this show in it's first running a year or so ago at SCSU in New Haven. Daisha Brabham is an incredibly gifted, young playwright who cleverly assembles a narrative inclusive of women throughout the African diaspora and invites us to listen to their stories, experience their pain and dance in the light of their success in her choreoplay "Homegoing: A Herstory of Black Womanhood". I encourage you to spend an evening supporting what started out as a student community theater project and what is now a mature work of art right here in our own backyard."- Alisha Martindale
