The Science Center hosts a monthly educational program geared towards homeschooling families. Home School Classroom is held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, unless otherwise noted. Homeschool Classroom is open to all families, not just those that homeschool.

Home School Classrooms include:
- Educational science presentations
- Fun and repeatable activities
- Free-play in the museum

There is a $5 admission per child, with a $15 cap for families with more than 3 participants.

*There is a $1.27 fee per ticket to register online. To avoid the fee, you may come to TSC or call the center at 618-529-5431 with your credit card ready.*

Each Home School Classroom Class is split into two sessions:
- Session 1 begins at 1:00 pm and is geared toward students Pre-k to age 8.
- Session 2 begins at 2:00 pm and is geared toward students age 8 and up.

Note: the age range describes the how the material will be presented and if you think your child would do better in a different session or can’t attend at that time, let us know and we can work with you.
