HOME MAINTENANCE COURSE: Level 1

Carpentry, Wood Framing, Drywalling, Flooring, Tiling, Exterior Repairs

Pre-requisites:

Must be 18 years or older.

7 Classes per Session

1 Orientation and 6 classes, all 6-9pm

Sessions

All classes for all sessions are on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 9pm

Early Fall 2018: September 19-October 31 SOLD OUT

Late Fall 2018: November 7-December 19

Fee:

$175. Tools to be used and practice supplies will be furnished by the instructor.

Certificate of Completion

You will receive a Certificate of Completion provided you attend at least 4 classes (not including the Orientation).

How to pay:

Seats are available on a first-come, first served basis upon payment of the course fee. When the class is full, you will be waitlisted upon request. If a seat opens up, you will be emailed an invitation to enroll.

Credit Card: Online now with Eventbrite, which charges a small fee. Your payment guarantees you a seat.

Money Order:

• Drop off payment at our office at NHS Brooklyn, 2806 Church Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11226 any weekday from 9am to 5pm. You may get a money order next door to our office.

• Bring payment to the first class. Your money order will be accepted at the first class only if the course is not yet full. Please call 718-469-4679 the day of the class to verify that seats are still available.

Cash/Check: We do not accept cash or checks.
