Birmingham is a city going through a lot of change. As a Homewood native, Heather has watched The Summit come into being, Highway 280 become a bustling part of our city, breweries pop up, downtown being revived, Railroad Park open, food trucks become a thing, Pepper Place becoming the normal Saturday activity, Regions Field move from the suburbs to the city and new restaurants going in everywhere.
We selected Birmingham as the city to host our inaugural event because the city is vibrant, cutting edge, and yet still distinctly southern. There's a reason Birmingham is thriving...because of people like US! Birmingham was ranked as the best city in the country for Millenial entrepreneurs. The hustle and bustle the city is experiencing from our strong, young people is intense and exciting. You can feel the electricity in the air and we like it! Keep on growing Birmingham, we as bloggers are ready to keep taking you to the next level one Instagram of our Steel City Pops at a time!
