Home Energy Scotland is hosting a free drop in energy advice and information event in Lesmahagow, South Lanarkshire.
The event is open to everyone and aims to raise awareness of what can be done and what support is available to help people make changes to improve household energy performance and comfort levels in rural properties where energy efficiency is particularly important.
The event is also aimed at householders who live in older homes that can be cold, damp and difficult to heat, and who are interested in keeping their energy bills down, and their homes warm and properly insulated.
Home Energy Scotland expert advisors will be on hand to give you free, impartial advice about:
installing different types of insulation, glazing, draught-proofing and energy efficiency measures that can be incorporated into harder to treat properties
funding and financial incentives available to support such improvement work
Speak to us to arrange for a special technical advisor to visit your home to provide tailored information including:
advice on heating your home regardless of its age and construction type
help to identify which renewables system would best suit your property
help to get accurate estimates and advise how to choose an installer to do the work.
