Description
Preserve the fresh spice of summer in this hands-on class by learning how to safely can homemade salsa. We’ll cover the basic steps of waterbath canning and break down the science of how food preservation works. All participants will receive a recipe booklet and try some delicious samples.

CLASS INFORMATION AND POLICIES
GENERAL: For hands-on classes, please consider wearing closed-toe shoes and tie hair away from face.
REGISTRATION: Registration will close a minimum of three days before the class date.
TICKETS AND ADMISSION: No tickets are issued for classes. Your name will be on an attendee list at the entrance. Admission to the kitchen will begin at the scheduled class start time.
REFUNDS: If you cannot attend a class for any reason, notify us at least three days before the scheduled class to request a refund of your registration fee or a transfer to another class. You are welcome to send someone in your place if you are unable to attend a class and the refund deadline has passed. Please let us know in advance so the registration list may be updated along with any allergy information. All classes are subject to rescheduling or cancellation (which would result in a full refund). Recipes and ingredients are subject to change based on availability.

PARKING: Free parking is available on-site in a City of Lenexa parking garage.
