About this event
Community Leaders and Stakeholders are invited to attend this event taking place May 12, 4:30-6:30 pm at Stocker Arts Center Lakeland Community Foundation Cinema on the campus of Lorain County Community College.
You will be able to meet and engage with veterans whose work is included in the photo exhibit Odyssey l Warriors Come Home. The images represented in this exhibit explore the challenges they faced while at war giving them a voice through these images which they could never express with words alone.
See the screening of the film documentary Blood Stripe l a Spouse’s Story which explores one woman’s real-life struggle with the long-term effects of her Marine husband’s service in Iraq and their journey to a new normal.
Guest speaker Babe Kwasniak veteran and Civilian Aide Secretary to the Army will discuss suicide prevention.
