Description

Join fellow Catholic couples and families for the fourth annual Holy Family Celebration. This half-day retreat features engaging catechesis for adults, children, and teens; Sunday Vigil Mass with Consecration to the Holy Family; and a delicious meal with live music, a book signing, and award-winning balloon artists.

Come grow your love and unity as a couple and family during this unique event!

Event tickets are only $15 per family and dinner is $10 for adults (14 and older) and $5 for children (8 to 13, Children 7 and under eat free)

Schedule:

Saturday, February 15

1:30 to 2:00 PM Check-in for the event and check-in for children’s catechesis; Location: Lower Level Lobby & 2nd Floor

2:00 – 3:30 PM Catechesis sessions

  • Adults –Panel Discussion on "Living the Family Rosary Today" by Gretchen R. Crowe and Daniel Meola, Ph.D.

  • Teens (13 to 17) – Presentation on Mary’s Invitation to Love and discussion with Kaitlyn Callahan. Location: Third Floor Conference Center (Drop-off and pick-up of teens in Lower Level Lobby)

  • Children (2 to 12) – Activites led by the Servants of the Lord Sisters; Location: Second Floor

4:00 – 4:30 PM Walking Rosary

4:30 PM Sunday Vigil Mass and Consecration to the Holy Family. Location: Redemptor Hominis Church

5:30 to 7:00 PM Family Meal with Food, music, and Award-Winning Balloon Artists; Location: Lower Level Atrium

Keynote Speaker Biography:

Gretchen R. Crowe is the editorial director for periodicals at OSV, where she oversees the publication of Our Sunday Visitor, the only national Catholic weekly newspaper in the United States. She also oversees the content of The Priest, Deacon Digest and Take Out magazines, and Simply Catholic and Radiant online. An award-winning writer and photographer, Crowe has been a member of the Catholic Press Association since 2005. She is the author of two books: "Why the Rosary, Why Now?" (OSV, 2017) and "Praying the Rosary with St. John Paul II" (OSV, 2019). Crowe lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with her husband and two children. Other Important Notes about the Day:

Please note that the event ticket does not cover dinner as this is an additional cost. If you would like to join us for our amazing dinner, then you will need to purchase additional dinner tickets for your family.

Also, while children seven and under eat free, please still choose a free dinner ticket for them so we know how many people to plan for!
