We would like to invite you to join us in celebration of HOLO,CreativeApplications.Net’s new magazine about 'emerging trajectories in art, science, and technology' at InterAccess in Toronto on the evening of June 25th.
Over the last two months, copies of HOLO 1 have arrived all over the world and got a very warm reception. Now, HOLO comes home to the city where the publication was (largely) hatched. Come raise a glass with us and toast our inaugural issue, leaf through its pages, or swing by to purchase a copy. We are extremely excited at the prospect of meeting our (wildly talented) Toronto readers and bringing folks from a number of electronic art and design related communities together under one roof for a night—and we can’t think of a more perfect venue for this gathering than InterAccess.
InterAccess offers curated exhibitions, commissioned projects, educational programming, artist talks and performances and facilitates the production of practice based new media work from conception to exhibition. Exhibition highlights include Blown Up: Gaming and War, featuring videogame-related provocations by Harun Farocki and Wafaa Bilal, and a commissioning of Cold Pin, a sound-based architectural ‘installation instrument’ by artist and composer Eli Keszler. Fresh from celebrating their thirtieth anniversary, InterAccess will soon launch TMAC, a landmark media arts centre scheduled to open in 2015.
