I’m Hollie I’m 10 and raising money for the Cancer Council and growing my hair for the Ponytail Project.
About this event
I am 10 years old and am aiming to raise $5000 for the Cancer Council.
With the help of my mum Nicole and my dad Matt, we are hopeful that we can achieve this goal.
We estimate that so far we have raised $1500. We hope this Trivia Night will help reach our goal.
The night will be host by Scottie from Giggle Group Trivia, the only requirement is a sense of humour
Some background:
Around this time 3 years ago I got a hair cut, a short bob. Soon after I decided I would like to grow my hair and donate it to a place that makes wigs for kids with cancer.
Then over the last 2 years our family and close friends have been overwhelmed by people with cancer diagnoses and all that follows. Most recently my Granny was diagnosed with bowl cancer.
Because of these events my parents and me through there must be more we can do. That is why we decided to incorporate my goal of growing my hair for donation and raising money for the Cancer Council.
