Herbal Support for a Healthy Transition into Fall

We had such an amazint time in August that we decided to have another field trip to Light Footsteps Herb Farm and Learning Center before the weather gets too cold.

Let's enjoy an evening walk looking for medicinal and edible plants that are still available for harvesting in early October. After our educational stroll, we'll come together to discuss some essential herbal remedies to have on hand as we transition into Fall. We'll talk about making an immune-boosting tincture, the importance of adaptogenic herbs, and some herbal remedies for coughts and colds. You'll leave with receipes for each remedy and we'll make one together that you can take home. Come enjoy nature and share what natural remedies you rely on during the seasonal transition while learning some new ones too!

Cost = $10 at the door for the take home remedy

Come and see if HMN is the community for you!
Meetings are FREE as a first-time visitor. Membership is $45/annually

Karyn Kokeny is an Independent BEMER Distributor and Team Manager. Her clients range from conventional to naturopathic doctors, from busy executives and business owners to athletes and individuals, many of whom are "baby boomers". Her clients are primarily those wanting simple, effective and holistic solutions to gain optimal health and are willing to invest in themselves.

Formerly, Karyn had successful careers as a Business & Leadership Coach and as a 20 1/2 year PepsiCo executive. She grew up in Oakland County, Michigan and is a graduate of Michigan State University. She's lived in 8 different states, including Ohio, and currently resides in West Bloomfield, Michigan with her 2 Labador Retrievers, Grace & Abby and her 20 year  old cat Tyler.

Though growing up with parents schooled in convention medicine, Karyn found her way to a holistic and preventative lifestyle after experiencing her own health challenges in 2013. She healed herself by clean eating, supplementation, mind therapy, and much rest. Through this new journey she found her true passion for helping others on a similar path of holistic health.

In her personal time, Karyn enjoys reading, dining out, and staying active outdoors.

These days, combining her passion with what she has learned along the way, Karyn is public speaking, educating, and sharing about an innovative, globally patented German engineered medical, wellness and fitness device called BEMER.

Karyn holds a Bachelof of Science from Michigan State University and earned a certificate in professional coaching from the accredited Coaches Training Institute.
