What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking in the area is very limited – generally to 2-hour street parking only, so we recommend carpooling and public transportation if possible. The Haas-Lilienthal House does not have public parking space. If you do drive in, there's a parking lot nearby on Jackson Street between Van Ness and Polk Street. (2 blocks away). Also, we are located 1-2 blocks from a Muni stop. The closest stops are at Jackson and Van Ness (47, 49,) and at Franklin and Clay or Sacramento (1).
Visit the “Trip Planner” of the www.sfmuni.com website for help planning your trip!
BUS: We are near Muni bus lines: 1, 12, 19, 27, 47 & 49.
BART: If you are taking BART, exit at the Civic Center station and either take a cab to Haas-Lilienthal, or walk down Grove or McAllister through the Civic Center area to Van Ness Avenue, and catch virtually any northbound bus (the near side of the street as you reach Van Ness.) Get off at Jackson, and walk one block west to Franklin – the HLH will be in the middle of the block on the west side.
CABLE CAR: We are 4 blocks from the end of the California Street Cable Car line, which ends at California & Van Ness. If you take BART from the East Bay, you can hop onto the Cable Car at the other end of the line, at Drumm & California Streets, just out of the Embarcadero BART station. In 12-15 minutes, you’ll be at Van Ness. From the end of the line, you will need to walk 1 block west, and 3 blocks north (1 block uphill, the rest is pretty flat).
Is my registration/ticket transferrable to another date or timeslot?
Due to limited seating and table arrangements per slot, tickets are generally non-transferrable but will be assessed on a case-per-case basis. Our maximum capacity for this event is 30. Please contact Terri Le (415.441.3000 ex22 or firstname.lastname@example.org) to determine if space is available for a different day and/or time slot.
Can I update my registration information?
General information can be updated (i.e. Name, email, phone number, etc.). If you wish to change the date or time slot, you must request a refund to be able to repurchase the correct date and time. Eventbrite does not offer the ability to switch orders on the managing end.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
We encourage you to have a printed ticket or mobile ticket ready. There will be a registration list available at the door to check-in guests, should you forget.
What is the refund policy?
Thank you for your interest and support! As a result of limited tickets (30/slot) for this popular event, we would like to do our best to make the opportunity available to those extremely interested and hope to sell-out for each slot. For a full refund, please notify Terri Le (415.441.3000 ex22 or email@example.com) at least 48 hours in advance of the event date. This would give us time to re-post available tickets to other interested guests. No refunds will be issued the day of the event nor after the event date has passed nor for any missed day or time due to transportation problems, illness, weather, shark attack or any other circumstances beyond our control, or ability to verify.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
If you need to change the name on the ticket or registration, please notify Terri Le (415.441.3000 ex22 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
