About this Event
Feeling nervous about seeing your family again? Afraid you’re going to be miserable through your well-intended “holiday break”?
Navigating the often emotionally activating terrain during visits with parents and in-laws is something most of us can relate to. This year, resource instead of regress! Learn to stay connected to YOU throughout the multi-layered minefield of triggers, and help yourself ground you into your adult self and your own energy.
This is a two part series that will focus on identifying the triggers that are there and bolstering yourself in supportive loving ways through them.
In Part 1, we will build our consciousness! We will identify triggers and places you regress, then learn simple, moment-to-moment resourcing practices so you have power and choice in any given situation. Learn some simple practices that “clear your space” and your energetic field so you can maintain a solid connection with your healthiest self.
In part 2, we will build on part one and customize your resourcing practices so it’s workable on the ground and in action when with family. We will also take heart in a new perspective that encourages sovereignty, compassion, and kind actions towards those sources of hurt, misunderstanding, and neglect.
This series is open to anyone willing to do the relational skill building practices provided. Please bring whatever food or water you need to take care of yourself during our time together.
Part 1 November 23rd 7-8:30pm
Part 2 December 8th 1:30–3:00pm
Cost: $20 each session
