Event description

Do you ever feel stress around the holidays? Holidays offer lots of reasons to feel "stressed out" --- gifts to wrap, cards to mail, endless social gatherings, and so on. For many of us, a main source of stress can be family "obligations and traditions". We gather with those we love...or with those whom we struggle to love... And, when a dear family member is no longer with us, holidays tend to spotlight the Grand Canyon-size hole in our heart.

Join us for ONE or ALL 3 sessions --- we'll explore scientifically-based tools to help you reconnect with your heart and IN-JOY the holidays. We'll share tips on how to harness your potential to "self-generate" positive emotions and to transform emotions that leave us feeling depleted and exhausted. And if you’re struggling with grief, sadness, or depression, these techniques may help you to feel a bit better. HeartMath® research shows: increased resilience and coping skills, more energy, better sleep, reduced anxiety and depression, and improved relationships.

What better GIFT to give yourself and others than the best version of YOU?

This 3-session series covers the following topics:

Nov 19: The Basics of Holiday Resilience
HeartMath®, a global leader in resilience-building technology and techniques, can help you this holiday season! Their simple, yet empowering, emotional self-regulation tools assist you to de-stress, revitalize energy, and restore balance! And you’ll witness, and learn, how to quickly and measurably shift your physiology in a few heartbeats…in less than a minute

Dec 3: Give to Others without Losing your Self (or your heart)
Do you ever feel that you take better care of everyone else than yourself? Have you ever sacrificed your joy for someone else’s? Do you feel that self-care is self-ish? We’ll share a simple tool that engages the power of your heart to help you transform and expand this perspective into one that supports your well-being and inner joy.

Dec 17: Create a Heart-Centered Holiday
Want to enjoy the true “spirit” of the season? Not Santa Claus, consumerism, or “who got the better gift”. UGH! What better gift to offer to yourself, AND to those you love, than the very best version of YOU? Imagine feeling more gratitude, love, peace, ease and joy than you ever have before…and sharing that “presence” with your loved ones. According to the HeartMath Institute’s Global Coherence Initiative, our feelings measurably affect those around us (negatively or positively). Join us as we send love and peace to our community and to our planet – with the intention of healing and harmonizing humanity this holiday season.

"BE the change you wish to see in the world" -Ghandi.

"Let there be Peace on Earth - and let it begin with ME" - St.Francis of Assisi
