Take your Spring holiday egg decorating to a whole new level with this beautiful Ukrainian craft. Instructed by Susan Benarcik.

She will give a presentation on the history of Pysanky, which also explains the design process, and will show a short video demonstration on how to use the kistka.

The process is meant to be a meditative act in the lenten weeks before Spring/Easter celebrations. In light of what’s happening in Ukraine today, this is an excellent opportunity to meditate on world peace.

Susan has been practicing this tradition for 50 years with her family and is now teaching you!

You can expect to complete 3 Pysanky - in the traditional Ukrainian style. All materials and patterns provided.
