Holiday Open House: Hanging of the Greens

By UNM Maxwell Museum of Anthropology

Overview

Join us for another special holiday event with freshly-baked bread, hot chocolate, a store sale, and more!

* Registration not required but appreciated*

The Maxwell joins the UNM campus' annual UNM Hanging of the Greens to celebrate the start of the holiday season. Join us for this family-friendly event.

Visit our galleries and courtyard filled with holiday music while enjoying free cookies and hot chocolate (while supplies last). Also shop at our annual holiday sale at our unique museum gift store.

New this year: Visit our courtyard with our newly restored adobe horno (oven) that Mary Jane Edaakie (Isleta Pueblo) educator and baker will be using to make bread. Try a free sample with butter and honey...and purchase a loaf to take home if you like it! (While supplies last).

Join the entire campus walking tour, beginning at the UNM Bookstore at 5:30 pm or come directly to the Maxwell. We will welcome you with open arms!
