Lead with the Heart: Technique for Musicality & Expression

In this workshop we will focus on the use of dance technique to enhance musicality and expressiveness. We will consider how the ways in which we drive or weight even same movement changes the feeling within our bodies and conveys different messages to our audience. We’ll address using intention, manipulating energy, “expressive” vs. “grounding” zones, and gestures to communicate with our audiences and to make choices in our dance. This workshop is open to belly dancers of all styles.

Workshop 2 - Renee Szudy

Dynamic Drum Solo with Renee. In this workshop you will learn a full choreography to a classic drum solo. Be ready to sweat!
