Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Under-whip egg whites. Brown the butter. Toast your flours. Add prunes? Learn what makes Milk Street sweets easier, better, more flavorful, and -- every now and again -- somewhat surprising.

In this edition of our Milk Street Desserts class you'll make chocolate prune rum cake; Basque-style polvorones; tahini-laced brownies, and brown butter-cardamom banana bread. From elegant dinners and cookie platters to open houses and gifts, these recipes will take care of all your holiday baking needs.

This is a four-hour hands-on baking class led by Milk Street Cooking School educators.

Should I eat before class?

Yes! In this class we will taste recipes as we cook, but an hour or more may pass before the sampling begins, and all of the sampling is sweet. A savory meal or snack before class is a good idea.
